Find Child Care

Every day, families in New Jersey wrestle with challenging decisions about their children’s earliest care and early learning.

  • What is the best child care setting for my child? How much will it cost?
  • How will I know if it is a quality program? What programs are available in my community?
  • What should I ask potential child care providers when I am looking to select child care for my child?

New Jersey’s network of local Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agencies have been operating for decades to help parents answer these questions by providing parents with the information necessary to select child care and preschool. Trained child care resource and referral specialists are available to provide guidance by phone or in person tailored to each individual family’s need. All conversations are confidential.
